Wei-Han Kuan is the State Director of the Church Missionary Society (Victoria). CMS Australia has more than two hundred missionaries serving in some forty locations around the world. Thirty of these come from Victoria. Wei-Han is an ordained Anglican minister with a background in young adult ministry in
Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from The University of Melbourne, and a Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Theology from the Australian College of Theology (Ridley Melbourne). His doctoral thesis was entitled ‘A History of Evangelicalism in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, 1847-1937’. He is a member of the executive of the Evangelical History Association. Wei-Han is also an adjunct or visiting lecturer of Ridley Melbourne where he teaches theology and church history. Prior to training for ministry Wei-Han worked in taxation law with the Australian Taxation Office and the international business consulting firm KPMG. He is married to Valerie and they have three young children, Alexandra, Samuel and Josephine.
